Harvest Festival

It was a bright, sunny morning. Perfect for our Harvest Festival.  All the Juniors walked to Roydon Church, taking tins and packets of food with them.

The food was displayed at the alter. Later it will be donated to the Food Bank for people to receive over the next few days.

All classes sang harvest hymns.

Each class performed something with a harvest theme.
Owls did a Harvest Rap...

...Otters read a poem.

Cannon Billet talked to us about food from the time it is grown in the field until it reaches our plates.
He reminded us all about the importance of saying "Thank you".

Jake and Max did a good job operating the CD player.

When it was over we enjoyed the sunshine as we walked back to school, arriving in time to do spellings before lunch!

Many thanks to the parents and grandparents who walked with us - we appreciated your help.
