Netball Tournament

Our netball A and B teams took part in a tournament at Diss High School today. It was foggy and cold to begin with, but the sun crept through the clouds and it turned out to be a beautiful day.

We started with some warm up exercises and skill activities led by the Sports Leaders from Diss.  It was lovely to see so many ex Roydon pupils leading these sessions and they reminded us that it wasn't so long ago that they were playing for our school!

The matches started before lunch and continued in the afternoon.  There were 2 leagues; the A Team played in one, the B Team in the other.

Both teams won their respective leagues, so had to play each other in the FINAL!!!

The final was a competitive but sporting match.  Both teams tried really hard and demonstrated  that their netball skills had improved throughout the day.  In the end the A Team were the winners!

Well done to all our players - it was a lovely day out.
